RunDisney - Day 6 - Lake Buena Vista to Orlando to Philadelphia to Pittsburgh to Mars

We had a leisurely time getting ready to leave the room. It was great that the hotel did provide bell service and transport from our room to the main lobby. So we took advantage of that and headed for breakfast. The last of the Mickey Waffles for Amy for a while. She commented that she got a side of waffles with her bacon!

After breakfast we headed out to the pool to spend some down time before we headed to the airport. Struck up a conversation with a couple who loved to fly fish in Lake Ontario and spent time in Pulaski, NY

Our Mears Connection was there promptly (actually, a bit before) for our 12:45 departure. We got to the airport, through security, and decided it was a good time to get food. It was a good thing we did.

Flight to Philadelphia was on time. How ironic that it was that a woman and her son, who were on the shuttle with us to the airport ended up sitting next to me on the plane.

After a bit of a bumpy ride we arrived in PHL What a surprise when we landed to find multiple alerts on our phones that Amy's security system worked! She sorted that out and we headed to the gate.

Amy went to secure some coffee, but they started boarding early and she hustled back to get on board. Just before takeoff she got a call from her home area police explaining the earlier situation. All good and on to PIT.

Luggage collected, transport to the Hampton Inn to pick up the car and onto Mars for her to pick up the felines who had a grand time with Earle. UPDATE - Little Baby CJ stole the Sirius Radio remote which Amy found in her carrier.

What a wonderful trip and so glad to have spent such quality time with my amazing daughter.
